PURPOSE

The purpose of this course is to provide a sound understanding of the causes of back injury and methods to prevent back injury in the workplace.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

On completion of this eLearning course trainees will be able to:

  • Describe the structure and function of the spine.
  • Identify the risk factors for occupational back injury.
  • Identify back care techniques.
  • Identify workplace control measures to reduce the risk of back injury.

Delivery via eLearning with support from an experienced trainer.
